Frequently asked questions

What is Deep Field Vault?

An independent educational channel sharing short, factual videos about astronomy and space science — one true idea about the universe in under a minute, over genuine NASA imagery. Watch on YouTube and TikTok, or browse the library.

Are the facts accurate?

Yes — accuracy is the whole point. Every fact is checked against reliable sources. We phrase and round numbers honestly and never invent figures. If we get something wrong, email us and we’ll correct it.

Where do the images come from?

Every visual is genuine public-domain imagery from NASA and its missions (17 U.S.C. §105). We don’t use stock footage or anyone else’s copyrighted material.

Are you affiliated with NASA?

No. Deep Field Vault is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NASA or any space agency. We simply use their public-domain imagery with gratitude.

How are the videos made?

We research a topic, gather the relevant NASA imagery, write an original script, and produce a short video with narration and on-screen highlights. A human reviews and approves every video before it goes live.

How often do you post?

A new fact most days. Each one is added to the library here as its own page the moment it’s published.

Can I use or share your videos?

Please share links freely. The NASA imagery is public domain, but our original scripts, narration, designs and edits are ours — don’t re-upload or resell them as your own. See our terms.
